Victoria – Skilled Migration Nomination Requirement (2025-2026)
2025-2026 State and territory nomination allocations – Victoria
The Australian Government has allocated 3,400 skilled visa nomination places to Victoria for the 2025-26 program.
Victoria’s allocation consists of:
- The Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) – A permanent visa to live and work anywhere in Victoria – 2,700 places
- The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) – A provisional (5 year) visa with a pathway to permanent residency after living and working in regional Victoria for at least 3 years – 700 places
Victoria – State Nomination Eligibility requirements Subclass 190
Basic requirements:
- be living in Victoria or overseas,
- be committed to living and working in Victoria,
- have had your Registration of Interest (ROI) selected,
- be under 45 years of age,
- have at least Competent English
- have a valid Skills Assessment in an occupation on the eligible skilled occupation for this visa,
- have achieved at least 65 point on the Australian Government’s points test for your Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect.
